Mr. Sparks and I worked together on the TV Show "Good Day Tri-Cities", a local entertainment show. Having a daily show is very demanding and last minute changes were inevitable often. Mr. Sparks always met the demands and with a higher level of expertise than expected. I could hand off an idea to him for a graphic idea and he would always deliver the best visual art design imaginable. He truly has amazing talent! His work ethic was precise and he was always easy to work with. A great team player with creativity above most in his field. I highly recommend Matt, he is a former co-worker of mine who who I now consider a great friend.

I am the executive director of GetFit4Life Inc., a health and wellness organization who had a weekly televised segment on WKPT’s Good Day Tri-Cities show called “Motivational Monday” which aired every Monday for one year in 2016.  Throughout the year we had different guests on the show with our Fitness Expert “Big Jon,” as well as different sponsors throughout the year.  My team and I worked with Matthew Sparks, the creative services manager and motion graphics designer.  We were all very satisfied with Matt’s level of artistic skill and client support with designing fun, colorful, and scene appropriate graphics for our backgrounds, as well as keeping important sponsor information displayed appropriately during the show.  There were changes from week to week and sometimes our sponsors wanted pictures to be shown on the screen but would not send me those pictures until late Friday…when the show was to be aired on Monday morning.  One experience I will share is a time that a sponsor sent me pictures late Friday afternoon that needed to air on Monday morning’s show.  Matt had given me his personal email address and I shared what happened with him to make him aware of the short notice, hoping that he could plan to do it first thing Monday morning.  In this instance, and others, Matt went out of his way to make sure that the pictures were uploaded to the show in time for the 9AM Monday morning air time, and we will always remember and appreciate his dedication.  Another wonderful thing Matt did is make caricatures for our Fitness Expert Big Jon, and a doctor we had on the show, which were used in the opening of the show. Matt is an excellent artist and is able to draw sketches really well.  Often Matt would come up with a background ideas and send them to me for my review.  Matt was always very receptive of my input and critique.  I would be happy to work with Matt on projects again in the future should they come around.  I believe that Matt’s creative talent, experience, and attentiveness would complement any team.
